Flagstone Walkway & Patio with Fire Pit

This Orleans property was transformed into a cohesive outdoor living space featuring a refreshed shell driveway, a new flagstone walkway, raised planting beds, and a custom-built patio with fire pit—creating seamless connections from front to back.

The project began with a fresh layer of crushed shells to restore the existing driveway’s classic Cape Cod look. From there, a flagstone walkway was installed leading to the backyard shed, wrapping around the house to connect with the raised porch and rear entry. Along the porch, a raised timber planting bed was built and filled with native grasses for texture and movement.

The walkway transitions into a spacious flagstone patio complete with a custom stone fire pit, designed for relaxation and entertaining. The end result ties together multiple functional zones with a unified material palette and natural flow, perfectly suited to its woodland surroundings.
