Flagstone Patio & Retaining Wall Installation

This Eastham backyard was transformed into a functional and inviting outdoor living space featuring a new flagstone patio, granite edging, and a landscape timber retaining wall with raised garden beds.

The project began with grading and excavation to create a stable base for the new patio area. A durable flagstone paver system was installed and bordered with granite edging for a clean, timeless finish that complements the surrounding landscape. To manage the grade change and define the planting areas, a pressure-treated landscape timber retaining wall was constructed along the edge of the patio. The newly formed garden beds between the granite border and retaining wall were filled with fresh soil, ready for planting seasonal flowers and shrubs.

The finished result provides a cohesive, low-maintenance outdoor space that blends structure with natural beauty — perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the Cape Cod outdoors.
