Natural Fieldstone Walkway

This Wellfleet project replaced an informal dirt path with a custom natural fieldstone walkway that connects the driveway to the home’s main entrance and front porch, blending seamlessly into the wooded coastal landscape.

The design features hand-laid natural fieldstone pieces set within a steel border and filled with native pea stone for a durable, organic look that complements the home’s architecture and surroundings. The walkway gently curves through the property and splits toward two destinations — one leading to the main entry and another to a set of landscape timber steps that access the front porch.

Built with attention to natural flow, stability, and drainage, this walkway enhances accessibility while maintaining the site’s rustic Cape Cod character.
